Terms of use

Last updated 9 September 2026.

Plain-English rules for using Bishop. By creating an account you agree to them and to the privacy policy.

Your account

You must be 17 or older to use Bishop. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including anything your assistant does on your instruction.

You can add other people to your workspace. Owners and admins can see everything in that workspace, including conversations and call records.

Acceptable use

Don't use Bishop to send unsolicited bulk messages, to impersonate someone, to harass anyone, to break telecoms rules, or for anything illegal.

Don't ask the assistant to produce content that harms people, and don't use it to make automated decisions about credit, housing, employment or health without a person reviewing them.

We may suspend a workspace that puts our carrier or other customers at risk. Where we can, we'll tell you first.

The assistant's limits

Bishop is an AI assistant. It can be wrong, and it can misread what you meant. Check anything important before you act on it.

It is not legal, medical, tax or financial advice. Anything it spends, buys or runs on your behalf is subject to the approvals and limits you set.

Subscriptions and payment

Plans renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown before you pay and include tax where required.

If you subscribed on the web, you can cancel or change plan in Settings; the plan runs until the end of the paid period.

If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, that store handles billing, renewals, cancellation and refunds — manage it in your store account, not here.

Messages and calls

Carrier charges are between you and your mobile provider. Delivery depends on carriers and can be delayed or filtered, particularly for unregistered numbers.

You're responsible for having the right to message and record the people who contact your line.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deletion removes your workspace and its contents after a short grace period.

We can end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms. If we do, we'll refund any unused paid period.

Liability

Bishop is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We'll give notice in the app before material changes take effect. Continuing to use Bishop after that means you accept the updated terms.
